The 3M™ Versaflo™ Powered Air Purifying Respirator TR-800 Motor/Blower, with the 3M™ Battery Pack TR-830 attached, has been tested and classified for intrinsic safety in Hazardous Locations (Exia) by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) for the following: Exia Division 1: IS Class I, II, III; Division 1(Includes Division 2), Groups C, D, E, F, G; T4; Ex ia I Ma; Class I, Zone 0, AEx ia IIB, T4; Class I, Zone 0, Ex ia IIB, T4; Zone 20, AEx ia IIIC, T135; Zone 20, Ex ia IIIC, T135; -20°C ≤ Ta ≤ 55° C. The assembly includes Intrinsically Safe motor/blower (TR 802N), Intrinsically Safe Battery (TR 830N), battery attachment tool (TR 838), Airflow Indicator (TR 971), Easy Clean Belt (TR 627) and Length Adjusting Breathing Tube (BT 30). The TR-814N assembly may be combined with 3M Versaflo branded head tops and filters or cartridges to create a complete easy to use PAPR for protection against certain particulates, vapors and gases. The TR-814N assembly may be the preferred choice in operations where it is important to be able to easily clean the PAPR system.
