The Chemtrol female adapter union is an injection molded Corzan CPVC Schedule 80 thermoplastic fitting for use with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage and waste water treatment systems. The light grey Corzan CPVC adapter union features a female socket and a female NPT thread connections. This fitting has an EPDM ethylene propylene seal which has good abrasion and tear resistance, plus excellent chemical resistance, but not recommended for applications involving petroleum oils or most strong acids.
