These versatile discs are ideal for large area refining/repair. Can be run without water in the pre-buff step. High Grade Finishing 3M™ Finesse-it™ Refining Disc 3000 is specially coated with grade 3000 silicon carbide mineral so there is more mineral positioned to work quickly, last longer and produce a uniform finish throughout the life of the disc. Each strand on the face side of the disc is coated with mineral, ensuring the abrasive is where it can be most effective. In addition, the spaces within the web make it less prone to loading and helps improve the life of the disc. Silicon Carbide Mineral Silicon carbide mineral is very hard and fractures easily, resulting in freshly exposed sharp edges that cut extra fast and produce a smooth, professional-looking finish.
