This earplug model is made of a soft, slow-recovery foam that also helps make insertion easier. Additionally, these earplugs have 3M's maximum noise reduction rating for hearing protection. The 3M E-A-Rsoft FX Uncorded Ear Plugs seal the ear canal with soft, slow-recovery foam for excellent noise reduction and reliable hearing protection. The bell shape allows for easy fitting and removal. Recommended applications include assembly and mechanical, chipping, chiseling, cleaning, drilling, furnace operations, grinding, heavy equipment operations, machining, metal repair, painting, pouring/casting, power fastening, riveting, sanding, sawing and welding. These ear plugs have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 33 dB. Ear plugs are made of a polyurethane.
