3M E-A-Rsoft Grippers Probed Test Plug, are a specially probed version of the standard earplug. This product works with the 3M E-A-Rfit Validation Sysem and allows you to conduct an earplug fit test for the EARsoft Grippers earplug. 3M E-A-Rsoft Gripper Ear Plugs unique grip rings help create a soft, noise-blocking seal for effective hearing protection. Ideal for people with larger ear canals. The EARsoft Grippers Probed Test Plug is a specially probed version of the standard ear plug. This product works with the 3M E-A-Rfit Dual-Ear Validation System. Recommended applications include assembly and mechanical, chipping, chiseling, cleaning, drilling, furnace operations, grinding, heavy equipment operations, machining, metal repair, painting, pouring/casting, power fastening, riveting, sanding, sawing and welding. These ear plugs are commonly used in the following industries: agriculture, automotive, chemicals, construction, general manufacturing, healthcare, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals. These ear plugs have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 31 dB. Ear plugs are made of a polyurethane. Test compatible with 3M E-A-Rfit Validation System. *Note: 3M strongly recommends fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that many users will receive less noise reduction than indicated by the NRR due to variation in hearing protector fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. If the NRR is used, 3M recommends that it be reduced by 50% or in accordance with applicable regulations.
