Viega ProPress copper fittings meet the requirements of California Lead Law AB1953, VT193 and conform to NSF-61, Annex G. NSF-61, Annex G, is the weighted average lead content evaluation procedure that regulates the weighted average lead content of a product to 0.25%. Copper fittings are manufactured from tube compliant with ASTM B88 containing a min. of 99.9% copper therefore they are not required to be evaluated to NSF-61 Annex G, AB 1953 or ACT 193.
